Head Oenologist 

Guillermo has been working in the wine industry since he was 16 years old. His love for wine and viticulture comes from his roots, as his father worked for years as a winery manager and that helped Guillermo and his brother to get into the world of wine at a very young age. He studied industrial and oenological technology. After graduating, he decided to continue in the exciting world of viticulture and studied a degree in Oenology at the Don Bosco Faculty. Nowadays, after 31 years working in the best wineries in Mendoza, Guillermo is the Chief Winemaker at Fecovita where he and his team are in charge of studying the terroir and creating the best wines to share worldwide.

A lot of history and talent in the Uco Valley winemaking community, Guillermo has dedicated himself to capturing the delightful nuances of high-altitude wine regions. Like the array of colours on an artist’s palette, he crafts highly individualistic blends at Texto Súbito that create a dialogue between complementary grape varietals from outstanding terroirs.
